A native of Tunkhannock, PA, Rachael graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree from Misercordia University majoring in Management and a minor in Marketing. Rachael carries her FINRA Series 6 & 63 investment licenses, as well as her Life, Accident & Health Insurance license for the state of Pennsylvania. 

Rachael joined Northwestern Mutual in 2011 as a College Financial Representative, performing in the top 3% of all College Representatives nationwide for the 2011-2012 Awards year, and was ranked 8th in the Top Women College Representatives during that time.  Rachael transitioned to an associate role within the Northwestern Mutual system following her time as a Financial Representative where she continued to support advisor’s practices and leaders throughout the firm.  Just prior to joining Canna Milne Financial, Rachael’s work was centered around assisting advisors in developing comprehensive financial plans with her primary focus on investment planning and implementation. 

As our Chief of Staff, Rachael is an integral liaison between our team and our clients.  She directs all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the Canna Milne Financial team with her primary client focus on plan analysis, helping to develop, present and execute financial plans and recommendations for our clients.

• Born and raised in Richmond, VA, James graduated from the College of William & Mary with a major in Hispanic Studies and minor in Accounting. James focused on transcribing, translating, and interpreting a medieval Spanish law code that had Islamic influences.

James has been with Northwestern Mutual since 2017 when he started as a Financial Representative Intern in the Richmond Office. James moved to the King of Prussia office in 2018 where he was an associate that focused on mentoring young advisors. James began with a focus on Insurance before transitioning to Investment Operations. James holds his Series 7, 63, and Pennsylvania Life, Accident and Health Insurance License.

James will be working closely with our clients with a focus on investment operations. Please view James as an additional resource available to you within our firm.

Outside of the office, James enjoys traveling with his wife, Sara, Doctor of Philosophy – PhD, Neuroscience with the University of Pennsylvania, and spending quality time with his puppy, Kenny and kitten, Doc.

Kaitlin was born and raised in Bucks County, PA. She graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Since graduating college, Kaitlin worked in the home remodeling and cable industries as a liaison between companies and their clients. Her work focused on managing, facilitating, and growing the companies client and business relationships, while also assisting with daily administrative operations.

Kaitlin joined the Canna Milne Financial team in 2022. Kaitlin works closely with both our new and existing clients in the risk management process, assisting with initial onboarding, application processing and policy approval.  Kaitlin is also an essential resource in the ongoing servicing needs of our risk clients.

Outside of the office, she is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with family, reading, and baking in her free time outside of work.

Alice is a 2020 graduate of Penn State, where she earned a B.S. in Psychology with a focus on Industrial-Organization. Born and raised in Berwyn, PA, she currently lives in downtown West Chester. After graduation, she began working with Northwestern Mutual in the areas of recruiting, internship development, coaching, and office operations. In 2023, she joined the Canna Milne team. In her free time, Alice enjoys working out and exploring the arts, including visiting art museums, attending theater performances, watching movies, and going to concerts. She also serves on the Board of Advisors for the West Chester YMCA. 

Amelia is our Operations Associate. She's a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Public Relations and now resides in the King of Prussia area. Amelia plays an important role in assisting both clients and our team, managing various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations. Outside of the office, Amelia enjoys running, cooking, and hiking.

Rebecca is our Operations Associate at Canna Milne Financial. With a Master's degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from Penn State, she brings a unique perspective to her role. Residing in Norristown, Rebecca is an integral part of our team, providing essential support to both the investment and insurance operations teams. Outside of work, she's a sports enthusiast, concert-goer, and an active volunteer. Rebecca's passion for helping others and her commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to our organization.

Steve Blumenthal is the Director of Marketing. Steve oversees marketing efforts including brand stewardship, digital outreach, client insights, public relations, social media, training, mentorship, internal communications, community relations and event management.

Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual in the marketing capacity, Steve held positions with Northwestern Mutual in Talent Acquisition joining the firm in 2011 and obtaining Recruiter of the Year for the Eastern Region in 2016. Throughout his career he has honed relationship management skills to build and retain the trust and loyalty of key players and clients. Steve is also a former public-school educator and head collegiate coach for over a decade before transitioning into the private sector.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts from West Chester University, his Master of Education at Immaculata University, is a graduate of the American College and has obtained a CLF® designation and is Life, Accident, Health Licensed in the state of PA.

As the Director of Financial Planning, Josh is responsible for running our Planning Department, while also assisting advisors with plan analysis, plan construction and portfolio management. From there, he has taken on multiple roles during his career, including Associate Wealth Management Advisor, Director of Centralized Financial Security and Director of Network Office of Supervision. Josh earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) certification and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations. He also holds his Series 7, 66, 9 &10 registrations. Josh resides in Philadelphia with his girlfriend and enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, Philadelphia sports, and his chocolate lab. He is also a member of the Executive Leadership Team for Northwestern Mutual-Eastern Pennsylvania. He began his career with Northwestern Mutual as an undergraduate in the Pittsburgh network office in 2007.

Josh graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in 2009.

Charlotte Morgan is a Financial Planning Specialist who works with advisors to help develop financial plans and recommendations for their clients. Charlotte believes that everyone deserves a financial plan and loves walking alongside of advisors and clients alike to find tangible solutions to make a difference. Before rejoining the Planning Department in 2019, Charlotte was a Financial Advisor in 2018 and gained valuable knowledge about the client experience while building her own book of business. Charlotte holds a PA Life Accident & Health License along with her Series 6 and 63.

Charlotte holds a B.S. in Business Management and a Minor in Spanish from the Templeton Honors College at Eastern University.

Nik Kilmer is an Associate Wealth Management Advisor and joined the Financial Planning team in August 2018. He has his life, accident, and health license, as well has his Series 6, Series 63, and Series 7 securities licenses. Nik helps with planning analysis, portfolio evaluation and research, as well as investment operations and service. Nik currently resides in Norristown. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, watching movies, and following his beloved Philadelphia sports teams.

Nik graduated from Pennsylvania State University in May of 2015 where he earned his degree in Economics.

Courtney joined Northwestern Mutual in June 2022 as a Marketing Coordinator, based out of the Guinan Network Office in King Of Prussia, PA. She is a graduate of Villanova University, where she earned her BA in December 2021. Courtney's main focus is to coordinate marketing events, enhance and maintain data hygiene, handle promotional items, and develop and implement individualized brand strategies for advisors. Courtney resides in Philadelphia. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her friends, cooking, traveling and yoga.

Allie joined Northwestern Mutual in July 2021 as the Marketing Coordinator, based out of the Guinan Network Office in King Of Prussia, PA. She is a graduate of Temple University, where she earned her BA in December 2020. Allie’s main focus is to coordinate marketing campaigns, enhance and maintain digital media presence, craft a variety of graphics as well as develop and implement individualized brand strategies for advisors. Allie resides in Philadelphia. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, thrifting, going to farmers' markets and cooking.
